Are you a stranger in the Megalopolis known as Tokyo? Well, here are some pointers to make your stay during YAPC::Asia Tokyo 2010 a bit easier
Kawasaki-san has graciously created a mailing list for forign visitors! If you have any questions about your stay in Tokyo, please sign up!
The venue is Tokyo Institute Of Technology, also known as "Titech". Note that there are 3 different Titech campuses. We're holding YAPC::Asia Tokyo 2010 at the Ookayama campus!
This year we have 3 tracks in 3 different rooms. They are about 3-5 minutes apart, so make sure to check out where each room is on this map. Look for these buildings:
If you can decipher some Japanese, checkout this map and this map as well.
You should consider taking the train to get to the venue. If you've never been to Tokyo before, trust me, Tokyo train/subways are just amazing (they come ON TIME!).
The nearby station to the venue is "Oo-okayama" (大岡山), on either Tokyu Ooimachi Line (東急 大井町線) or Tokyu Meguro Line (東急 目黒線). Look for the orange line or the lightblue line on this route map.
List of some hotels that are close to the venue.
